ICD-9

This screen will display ICD-9 search results in a format much like that appearing in many ICD-9 code books so the format is familiar.  Enter the desired search code or words in the search box and press Enter or click Go.  You can search for multiple words or an 'exact phrase'.  When a search is performed on any of the ICD-9, CPT, or HCPCs screens, the program will search all databases simultaneously.  The user can click on any of these screens to see the corresponding search results.   Selecting any one of the search results will display the three digit code category in the Description tab with the specific search hits being highlighted for easy identification.  The ICD-9 section and category notes corresponding to the selected search result may be accessed by clicking on the Notes tab.  The Category notes are displayed in the upper half of the window, while the Section notes are displayed in the lower half of the window
